With Lou Iacobelli:
The traditional family is at the heart of human identity. Family does matter; it’s the pillar supporting healthy spiritual and human development. However, on many fronts, mother and father families today are under enormous legal and social pressures to change. Some serious issues impacting the modern family will be discussed. Topics include: high divorce rates, single-parent child rearing and rejection of sacramental marriage. We will look at other challenges such as same-sex marriage, conception with the use of sperm and egg donors, three legal parents and more. The Family Matters program aims to communicate the Truth about the family in the context of the Catholic faith and its teachings. We want to strengthen the family with the message of love and hope. For no human law can ever be above divine law. The host welcomes listeners’ input via regular mail, email at louiac@hotmail.com or telephone(416) 245-0200. |

The Sure Foundation Program examines reasons why people are drawn to Catholicism. By profiling many of the Church's converts we may all learn how we may say yes to God and find joy and fulfillment in our faith. Through their lives and writings we see the Church's teachings and the Holy Scriptures come alive for us. We gain the perspective of a convert on a journey towards the Sure Foundation of Christ and His One, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
